There is also a new option where a customer can give one off access to a logsheet to allow, a farmer for example, to update the GEO Location details without creating a login to the FBA portal.

In the FBA Customer Portal, we have added an option to allow a customer to grant one-off access to a 3rd party to a single logsheet. This allows a customer to send an email address with a link. When the link is clicked it asks for a confirmation of the email and then it gives access to a single logsheet, to allow for update of the Sample Names and the Lat – Long details. This allows for a farmer who is sampling their own farm to enter these details on site and also it can be used where a sampler is not registered on the FBA Portal but is doing some sampling for a customer.

To use this option, enter an email address and the farmer surname in the fields highlighted and then click on Send Code. An email is sent to this user with a link to the logsheet.

The assigning of a sampler to the logsheet on the left and the sending of a code, are mutually exclusive, so only one of them can be used on a single worksheet.
