Samples

Take the ear notch sample as instructed by your tag supplier. Keep chilled and ensure they are delivered to the lab within a few days. Due to a lot of samples getting damaged and lost in the post we recommend that you use a padded envelope when posting samples.

You must complete the BVD-Ear-Notch-Testing-Form.pdf form and include it with the samples.

If you are sending the samples without the form above, please ensure that you provide the following information with the samples: farmer name, farmer address, contact number, email address, herd number, date, evidence of payment/payment, no of samples, total payment.

When mailing samples please ensure that you use a Padded Envelope and check with your post office as to the minimum postage fee for posting the BVD samples.
